Capricorn Horoscope December 2026
By Dima Tretyak · Updated October 23, 2026 · Times calculated, not copied · For self-reflection, not prediction
December 2026 opens in your 12th house of rest and turns on Saturn, your ruler, going direct in your 4th house of home on December 10. Your own sign takes over from December 21, and the month closes with firm tests of those home themes.
Early December asks for less noise. Mercury enters Sagittarius, your 12th house, on December 6 at 3:33 AM EST (12:33 AM PST), and the New Moon at 16°57′ Sagittarius lands in the same house on December 8 at 7:52 PM EST (4:52 PM PST). As a start, it suits quiet intentions about rest, solitude and what you have kept private. On December 7, Mercury trine Neptune links that 12th house to your 4th, so a half-formed thought about home may surface while you are alone.
Saturn, your ruler, turns direct at 7°55′ Aries on December 10 at 6:23 PM EST (3:23 PM PST). It sits in your 4th house of home, family and roots, so matters there that felt stalled can begin to move forward again. Mercury trine Saturn on December 11 gives that restart an easy channel for plain talk. Neptune turns direct in the same house on December 12 at 5:13 PM EST, which may thin the fog around those topics. That evening Jupiter turns retrograde at 27°01′ Leo in your 8th house, a cue to review shared commitments and intimacy rather than launch anything new there.
Attention shifts to you when the Sun enters Capricorn, your 1st house, on December 21 at 3:50 PM EST (12:50 PM PST). Two days later the Sun squares Neptune on December 23 at 6:41 AM EST, and friction appears between your sense of purpose and vague ideals about home. The Full Moon at 2°14′ Cancer falls in your 7th house that evening at 8:28 PM EST (5:28 PM PST). It puts partners in plain view, with your own sign on the other side of the axis.
On December 25 Mercury enters Capricorn, and it squares Neptune on December 26 at 2:50 PM EST, so check your wording before you commit to it. The year closes with its densest stretch. Sun square Saturn arrives December 29 at 6:23 PM EST, and Mercury square Saturn follows on December 30 at 6:52 PM EST. Both press you to face limits in your 4th house. Then Sun trine Mars on December 31 at 7:02 AM EST and Mercury trine Mars at 6:30 PM EST, with Mars in your 9th house, give that effort a push toward bigger plans and beliefs.
Capricorn love horoscope
Venus enters Scorpio, your 11th house, on December 4 at 3:14 AM EST (12:14 AM PST), which puts friends and shared hopes ahead of romance early on. Jupiter turns retrograde in your 8th house on December 12, so it is a fair time to revisit how open you are with someone close. The Full Moon at 2°14′ Cancer on December 23, in your 7th house, shows what a partnership has built and what it asks of you. Sun trine Mars on December 31 adds warmth to a direct talk.
Capricorn work horoscope
No event this month falls in your 6th house, so the focus houses lead. Mercury trine Saturn on December 11 favors clear, sober planning once your ruler is direct. Mercury enters Capricorn on December 25, and Mercury square Saturn on December 30 tests whether your plans hold up against real limits. The Last Quarter Moon at 9°05′ Libra in your 10th house on December 30 at 2:00 PM EST (11:00 AM PST) suits a review of your standing and goals before the year ends.
