Leo Horoscope December 2026

December 2026 centers on Jupiter turning retrograde in your sign on December 12 and a New Moon in your 5th house on December 8. The month ends with attention on daily routine in your 6th house.
Jupiter, at 26°47′ Leo in your 1st house, is the quiet center of the month. On December 12 at 7:58 PM EST (4:58 PM PST) it turns retrograde at 27°01′ Leo. Growth, generosity and faith belong to Jupiter, and in this house they touch your body, temperament and the way you start things. A retrograde suggests reviewing what you began earlier in the year rather than launching something new. Before that, on December 4 at 2:02 AM EST (December 3, 11:02 PM PST), Mercury square Jupiter sets thoughts about home and roots in your 4th house against your own appetite for more.
Your 5th house of romance and creative work gets the most company. Mercury enters it on December 6 at 3:33 AM EST, and the New Moon at 16°57′ Sagittarius lands there on December 8 at 7:52 PM EST (4:52 PM PST). New Moons read as starts, so this is a good month to begin something small and playful, such as a creative project or a new way of spending time with people you like. Earlier that day, Mercury sextile Pluto at 2:32 PM EST links your 5th and 7th houses: an easy opening between your ideas and a one-to-one dealing, if you take it.
Sun trine Jupiter on December 18 at 4:20 PM EST (1:20 PM PST) joins your ruler in your 5th house to Jupiter in your 1st. Smooth support between will and growth makes it a fitting day to act on something you have been weighing. Mercury trine Jupiter follows on December 23 at 1:03 PM EST, across the same two houses, which suits saying plainly what you want. Saturn turns direct on December 10 at 6:23 PM EST at 7°55′ Aries, and Neptune on December 12 at 5:13 PM EST at 1°36′ Aries, both in your 9th house, so study, beliefs and publishing plans that stalled can start moving again.
Late in the month the focus moves to your 6th house. The Sun enters Capricorn there on December 21 at 3:50 PM EST. On December 23 the Full Moon at 2°14′ Cancer, in your 12th house, arrives at 8:28 PM EST (5:28 PM PST), a point where results around rest and private matters show. Sun square Saturn on December 29 at 6:23 PM EST presses your daily routine against the limits of your 9th house plans.
Leo love horoscope
Venus enters Scorpio, your 4th house, on December 4 at 3:14 AM EST, which keeps affection close to home and family. On December 9 at 1:38 PM EST, Venus square Pluto links your 4th and 7th houses and can bring friction over what a partner needs from you. Venus sextile Mars on December 12 at 4:15 AM EST softens that edge across your 4th and 2nd houses. The December 8 New Moon in your 5th house favors a quiet start in romance, such as making a plan for time together.
Leo work horoscope
Daily duties come into focus once the Sun enters Capricorn, your 6th house, on December 21 at 3:50 PM EST, and Mercury follows on December 25 at 1:22 PM EST. Sun square Neptune on December 23 at 6:41 AM EST may blur instructions, so confirm details before acting. Sun square Saturn on December 29 at 6:23 PM EST sets routine against limits, and a plan may need a slower pace. Sun trine Mars on December 31 at 7:02 AM EST gives that effort steadier backing.
