Capricorn Horoscope 2027

Capricorn's 2027 centers on home, self-worth and your own first steps, with Saturn, your ruler, in your 4th house all year. An eclipse in your own sign on July 18 and a busy December give the year its shape.

The most heavily weighted date of the year is July 18, when a penumbral lunar eclipse falls at 25°57′ Capricorn in your 1st house at 12:02 PM EDT (9:02 AM PDT). It lands in your own sign, so it speaks directly to temperament and how you start things. A penumbral eclipse is the faintest kind, a subtle shading of the Moon, and tradition reads lunar eclipses as turning points. It could be a good moment to ask which habits of self-presentation you have outgrown. Mars enters Libra on July 15 at 1:40 AM EDT, so the days before it are already busy in your 10th house of career and reputation.

Saturn spends the year in Aries in your 4th house, which makes home, family and roots the long-running subject. Jupiter in Leo, your 8th house, forms a trine to Saturn on April 3 at 9:22 AM EDT and again on July 11 at 6:45 PM EDT. Those dates link shared obligations and intimacy with household matters, and they tend to read as support rather than strain. Saturn turns retrograde on August 9 at 27°52′ Aries, 1:52 PM EDT, and direct on December 23 at 21°01′ Aries, 9:49 PM EST. Between those dates, a sensible use of the time is to review what your home and family commitments actually require.

Midsummer also reaches into your 8th and 9th houses. Jupiter enters Virgo, your 9th house, on July 26 at 12:45 AM EDT, which turns attention toward learning, travel and what you believe. A total solar eclipse at 9°55′ Leo follows on August 2 at 6:06 AM EDT in your 8th house. Tradition reads solar eclipses as a stronger start that colors the following months, here around intimacy, shared resources, fear and loss.

Your 2nd house of values and self-worth carries two eclipses. An annular solar eclipse at 17°37′ Aquarius arrives on February 6 at 10:59 AM EST, a stronger start in what you value. A penumbral lunar eclipse at 24°04′ Aquarius follows on August 17 at 3:13 AM EDT and may show which standards or possessions no longer fit. Pluto in Aquarius turns retrograde on May 8 and direct on October 17 at 4°44′ Aquarius, so the deeper work there is review before it moves forward. Neptune sextile Pluto on June 28 and October 16 opens an easy link between your 4th and 2nd houses, where home life and self-worth can inform each other.

The year closes with your own sign switched on. Mars enters Capricorn on November 25 at 1:37 PM EST and squares Neptune on November 30 at 5:29 PM EST. Then comes the Mars square Saturn on December 22 at 10:55 PM EST, one of the year's top dates. Both Neptune and Saturn sit in your 4th house, so the urge to act meets home questions and some haziness about what you want there. Saturn turns direct the next evening, which eases the standoff. Mars trine Jupiter on December 30 at 11:33 PM EST, with Jupiter in Virgo, your 9th house, gives that drive a wider aim such as study or travel.
