Virgo Horoscope 2027

Virgo's 2027 centers on your 1st house, where Mars turns retrograde in January and Jupiter arrives in July. Career and shared obligations run alongside as the other themes.

Mars opens the year in your 1st house and does not stay quiet. On January 10 at 8:01 AM EST (5:01 AM PST) it turns retrograde at 10°25′ Virgo, a cue to review how you start things before launching more. On February 17 at 1:36 AM EST (10:36 PM PST, Feb 16) Mars squares Uranus in your 10th house, friction between your drive and sudden change in your career that pushes for action. Three days later a penumbral lunar eclipse falls at 1°58′ Virgo on February 20 at 6:12 PM EST (3:12 PM PST). It is the faintest kind, a subtle shading, so a small ending in how you present yourself fits better than a dramatic one.

Mercury, your ruler, turns three times, and each turn touches a different part of life. It goes retrograde on February 9 at 12:35 PM EST (9:35 AM PST) at 5°58′ Pisces in your 7th house, so contracts and one-to-one dealings are worth rereading before you sign. It turns direct on March 3 at 20°55′ Aquarius, in your 6th house. The second retrograde starts June 10 in Cancer, your 11th house, and ends July 4 at 3:40 PM EDT (12:40 PM PDT) at 27°28′ Gemini, in your 10th house. The third runs from October 7 in Scorpio, your 3rd house, to October 28 at 19°18′ Libra, your 2nd house. Conversations come up for review first, then what you value.

The largest shift arrives on July 26 at 12:45 AM EDT (9:45 PM PDT, Jul 25), when Jupiter enters Virgo and your 1st house. Before that, Jupiter turned direct in Leo on April 12, in your 12th house, so the first half of the year suits quiet preparation. Growth, generosity and faith now attach to your body, temperament and way of beginning things. On September 10 at 12:36 PM EDT (9:36 AM PDT) Jupiter squares Uranus in your 10th house, which pairs that expansion with pressure to change how you stand at work. Mars then sextiles Jupiter on September 19, squares it on November 15 and trines it on December 30. Those are three separate tests of how readily you act on the opening.

Eclipses also fall on your work house. The annular solar eclipse on February 6 at 10:59 AM EST (7:59 AM PST) lands at 17°37′ Aquarius in your 6th house, a stronger start for daily routines whose themes tradition reads as lasting for months. Pluto is in that house too, turning retrograde on May 8 and direct on October 17. A penumbral lunar eclipse at 24°04′ Aquarius on August 17 at 3:13 AM EDT returns to the same house, a fair point to see which routine has run its course. On August 2 a total solar eclipse at 9°55′ Leo, in your 12th house, arrives at 6:06 AM EDT (3:06 AM PDT) and favors rest and private matters.

Your 8th house holds Saturn and Neptune, both in Aries. Saturn turns retrograde on August 9 at 27°52′ Aries and direct on December 23 at 21°01′ Aries. Neptune turns retrograde on July 9 and direct on December 15. Shared obligations and intimacy are a place to review slowly this year, not to settle in one move.
