Mercury turns retrograde three times in 2027, first in Pisces on February 9, then in Cancer on June 10 and in Scorpio on October 7. Each period lasts 21 to 24 days and puts thinking, speech, writing and messages back under review in a different sign.

The first period runs from February 9, 2027, at 5°58′ Pisces to March 3, 2027, at 20°55′ Aquarius, a span of 22 days. Pisces is receptive, imaginative and hard to pin down, so early on you may notice that conversations feel vague or that you absorb other people's moods. When Mercury backs into Aquarius, the tone turns more detached and idea-driven. This is a good time to reread plans for loyalty, causes and group projects before you commit. The shadow stretches from January 25 to March 23, 2027, so loose ends can show up in late January and settle by late March.

In Libra the question becomes balance: weigh agreements and apologies again, and ask what is fair, before deciding. The shadow spans September 17 to November 13, 2027.

This last period has the busiest company. Pluto stays retrograde until October 17, Neptune runs from July 9 to December 15, Saturn from August 9 to December 23, and Uranus from September 15, 2027, to February 12, 2028. Together they point to review of ideals and confusion (Neptune), limits and duty (Saturn), and routine and independence (Uranus).
